Everything on this site is for academic medical-exam preparation only. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be used as the basis for any diagnosis, prescription, treatment or clinical decision. Medical knowledge keeps changing; where the content differs from the latest official guidelines, drug labels or textbooks, those always prevail. This site accepts no responsibility for any consequence of relying on its content.

2. Copyright

The teaching narratives, mechanism chains, ★ must-know summaries, ⚠ trap analyses, ♪ mnemonics, chapter structure and the two guide characters (🦦 Pip · 🐻‍❄️ Barnaby) are original works; all rights reserved. They may not be reproduced, publicly transmitted, distributed, adapted or used commercially without written permission.

The past questions of the Taiwan physician licensing examination included on this site are, under Article 9(1)(v) of Taiwan's Copyright Act (“examination questions and alternate questions of examinations held in accordance with law”), not subject to copyright and may be freely used; their explanations are original to this site.

This site does not contain or distribute any third-party commercial question bank or textbook content (including NBME, UWorld, Kaplan, First Aid, UKMLA commercial question sets, ClinicalKey, Netter, Harrison, Crash Course, etc.). If you believe any content infringes your rights, please email ottermedboard@gmail.com and we will take it down immediately.

3. Personal data

Signing in collects only your email address, used solely for identification, subscription verification and necessary notices, and never provided to third parties for marketing. With Google sign-in, the site receives only your email address and public profile (name, avatar) from Google, and never accesses your Gmail, Drive or any other Google service.

When not signed in, your study progress stays in your browser only (localStorage) and is not uploaded. After signing in, your answer records (question ID, chosen option, correct or not, subject, time) sync to our server for cross-device practice and personal statistics; other users only see anonymous aggregates (such as the site-wide accuracy of each question, shown only once at least 5 people have answered it). You may email ottermedboard@gmail.com at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data and all study records. Full details: Privacy Policy.

4. Error reports

Medical content inevitably contains slips. If you find any error, outdated information or doubtful point, please email ottermedboard@gmail.com; we will fix it in the next release and credit you in the changelog.
